Susi's Show Bar, Table DanceGroße Freiheit 1
Susi's Show Bar is famous for its familiar atmosphere. The guests feel right at home here.
Große Freiheit 7 (Great Freedom 7)Große Freiheit 7
This atmospheric spot boasts around 200 seats and a very diverse group of DJ's offer "Ballerman" and chart music, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. Music requests to the DJ are possible, but it is uncertain that they will be granted. Some will hear their song after waiting two hours, others won't hear it at all. Maybe because they have already left in September 2013. The service is clean and the bathrooms are friendly. And vice versa.

Pat ClubGroße Freiheit 9
The PAT CLUB in Hamburg has successfully used concept of the Pat O'Briens in New Orleans, that sadly did not survive the flooding of 2005. On three levels and two dance floors still is a place to really party. The music is a good mix between hip-hop/RnB, house/electro and todays hits. The prices for the drinks are not the cheapest, but the fresh air on the nice balcony on the upper level or on the rooftop terrace is free. Quite the gesture of the proprietors.
Dollhouse, Table DanceGroße Freiheit 11
The classic location among the table-dance spots. They offer a good program and the guests can expect a fair price/quality ratio.
O`BriansGroße Freiheit 13
Döner DinerGroße Freiheit 15
When hungry this "Döner" diner is a good decision, because the food tastes good and the service is quick.
Dollhouse Beach ClubGroße Freiheit 21
The "little sister" of the main Dollhouse right next door. Everything is more affordable here. Including the "offerings". And of course there is no entry charge.
Bierstube (Beer Room)Große Freiheit 23
Simple bar with friendly service behind the counter and a nice audience in front of it. This spot all about German folk music. Thanks to "Sky" Soccer games are broadcasted live.
Olivias Show ClubGroße Freiheit 27
This location is close from January till mid-February.
Gretel + AlfonsGroße Freiheit 29
A pro behind the counter ensures a great vibe in this bar. Inge is the soul of the establishment and has everything under control. Especially the Beer. A feel-good bar. Name of the song: We only go there, because of the barkeeper.
Transentreff Monika Bar (Transmeet Monika Bar)Große Freiheit 27
A longstanding gathering place for transvestites.
It is here where they amusingly celebrate in a familiar atmosphere.
"Papa, what is a transvestites?"
"Ask your Mom, she knows it better!"
Kurhotel (Health Hotel)Große Freiheit 35
Not a hotel nor wellness or so. This place can be rented out for parties. Place for approximately 150 persons.www.kurhotel-stpauli.de/
Olivia Jones BarGroße Freiheit 35
The bar is close in January.
HighwayGroße Freiheit 39
A very pleasant smoking-bar with friendly service and nice guests, it is located towards the end of the Great Freedom. It is never fully crowded which naturally makes it a very comfortable place.
St. Joseph ChurchGroße Freiheit 41
Another side of the Reeperbahn:
The St. Joseph´s Church is located right in front of the "Große Freiheit" (Great Freedom). The Catholic community of that time completed building it in 1721 after four years of construction.
It was able to withstand the war without any damage so that only the interior needed to be renovated in 1995. Its amazing wall paintings are definitely worth seeing.
Up to this day, the brothers and sisters in faith take care of the drug addicts that can be found in the districts of Altona and St. Pauli.
On Sundays, however, it is mainly the meeting place of people of Polish descent. On the grounds in front of the church, they offer their traditional dishes among other things....
