The PAT CLUB successfully took over the concept of Pat O´Brien in New Orleans, sad to say closed since the flood in 2005. At three floors, you canreally freak out. Music is a good mixture of Hip Hop/RnB, House/Electro and the latest hits. Not the cheapest drinks, but fresh air at the nice balcony at the top floor is for free. Nice gesture from the staff.

St.Joseph´s KircheGroße Freiheit 41
That´s also the Reeperbahn:
Directly at the beginning of the "Großen-Freiheit" is the St.Josephs church. After four year´s of construction, under the Catholic Community, it was completed in 1721.
The church survived the war, only the interior was renovated. The murals are truly worthseeing.
Till today fellow Christians and sisters still look after drugaddicts from the districts Altona and St.Pauli.
Sundays is a meeting place for Polish people, in front of the church, they sell typical foodstuffs from their home...
